Prof. S. Shikyil (SAN)

Professor S. Shikyil is a professor of law and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria.

Professor Shikyil started his Legal Practice as a State counsel ii with the ministry of Justice, Bauchi State in 1989. In 1990 he joined the University of Jos as a Lecturer.

While in University of Jos, he held several Administrative and academic positions. Between 2004 and 2009, he worked as Legal Expert at the Policy Analysis and Research Project of the National Assembly. Also, Between 2015 and 2018, he was the program Chairman of department of public and International Law, School of Law, American University of Nigeria, Yola, Adamawa state.

He Has been Dean of Law, Faculty of Law, University of Jos, Nigeria since August 2018.
